[Review] Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe [Switch]
I had a ton of fun with Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe courtesy of Nintendo Canada. It’s been a long time since I played the original with my kids, so getting back into it with the kids was an unexpected joy. I had a blast with my kids in multiplayer between running the levels and the mini games. Watching their happiness at getting back into a game they enjoyed when they were much younger was a great bonus as they’ve come a long way and seeing them negotiate levels they had trouble with before was a great experience.
The gameplay is classic Kirby platform and much like you remember from the original release along with some additional content in the Epilogue playthrough that puts a cap on the games kid’s level story while also just extending the game a little bit longer. The update to the graphics as fantastic between the colours and art looks fantastic on the Switch. Multiplayer worked smoothly and we had a wonderful time. This is a game for kids and casual platform/ Kirby enthusiasts alike and I can’t recommend it more if you’re looking for that classic Kirby fun on your Switch. Return to Dreamland Deluxe really shines with the multiplayer and fun to be had in that shared experience.
PS: Make sure to spend a good amount of time just having a fun in Magoland also Mecha Kirby is everything for me!
