Wartales Unleashes The Harag’s Marchlands Update, Featuring Explorable Region, Increased Level Cap
2 min readWartales, a medieval open-world tactical RPG following a mercenary warband, receives a new enormous unexplored region teeming with fiendish foes. Evoland and Northgard developer and publisher Shiro Unlimited invites the more than 100,000 commanders who have joined in Early Access to explore The Harag’s Marchlands Update today.
Lead a militia through the unforgiving swamps of Ludern. Cursed by disease and corruption, this hostile land houses battlegrounds full of territorial trackers, rabid native animals, and unyielding monsters roaming the enigmatic enclave. Scour a forsaken village hidden deep within the blighted swamps where the clank of metal armor, a falling satchel, or even a fearful whimper can trigger hordes of plague-ridden wanderers. If this occurs the militia must quickly gather and swiftly escape, as the disease-filled husks can not be killed, but can spread the accursed rot.
Though a treacherous land, Ludern and its kingdom, Harag, are ripe with opportunities. Tame and train animals through specialized skill trees adding to the sellswords’ resources. Gather domestic materials and crafting items, master the freshly expanded skills, and advance the infantry to the max progression cap of level 9.
Wartales’ latest Early Access update, The Harag’s Marchlands, is available now on Windows PC via Steam with English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish, and Portuguese language support. New recruits can join the fray on Steam for $34.99 USD. For more information about Wartales, please visit the official website and follow Shiro Games on Twitter.
