The Gyldenmist Deepens — Mistfall Hunter Unveils New Map at Tokyo Game Show

Bellring Games announced that Mistfall Hunter BETA 3 will conclude on September 26, where 120,000 Gyldhunters joined the hunt. Over the course of the test, players dove into the game’s diverse class lineup, with Shadowstrix rising as the favorite. Gyldhunters unlocked new customization options, cut down 23 million enemies, and 7,409 players managed to bring down the Mist Lord, General Harald. The studio thanks everyone for jumping in, sharing feedback, and helping shape what’s next for Mistfall Hunter.

An exclusive Developer Update premiered at Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2025 Broadcast offering a first glimpse of Solemn Needles, the next playable map arriving at launch. In this bleached and sacred forest, players will encounter the Divine Anchor, a relic that draws enemies to its lingering power, explore Hastine’s Fall, where the corpse of a giant still radiates divine strength, and uncover the secrets of the Witchery Woods before confronting the power of a false god. The hunt is far from over, so sharpen your blades, ready your gear, and prepare to step back into the Gyldenmist.

In Mistfall Hunter, enter a world scarred by the war between the Gods and the Outer Gods. Their blood bore the Gyldenmist, spreading madness and decay across a shattered world. Civilization has fallen, yet hope lingers through Dew, a fragment of the Fate Goddess’s soul who grants immortal flesh to fallen heroes. Rise as one of these resurrected warriors, master deadly combos and strategic skills, and face both monstrous creatures and rival hunters. Claim powerful relics, discover long-forgotten truths, and fight to escape before the Gyldenmist consumes all.

Mistfall Hunter Key Features: 

• FIGHT – Immerse yourself in smooth, third-person gameplay and fast-paced combat. Select your player class and then utilize both magic and steel to customize your combat style. Players can switch weapons during battles to adapt to various enemies. You can even team up with friends to execute surprising combos to secure victory over any who may challenge your greatness.
• LOOT – There are rich treasures in the ruins guarded by the Corroded, or even terrifying Mist Lord. Fight these powerful creatures for spoils or take the quicker route by hunting down and looting other Gyldhunters. Just be careful. If you die, you lose everything.
• EXTRACT – To successfully escape from the ruins players need to locate a rare monster called “Returner Woodling”. Defeating it grants an item called “Soul of Return”. With this item in hand players can create their path home. Yet the Gyldenmist conceals more than one way out.
